Mt Washington is the highest peak in the North-Eeast of the United States. It is famous for having the worst weather in the world (very windy!), especially in the winter. On the summit they measured the record for the highest wind velocity on Earth, 231 mph (372 km/h). The mountain is located in the Presidential Range of the White Mountains, in Coos County/New Hampshire. It is part of a popular hiking area. But the top can also be rached by car or by the famous cog railway.

Because of the very special landscape and the amazing view from the top, i really recommend a short visit! (Its is less than a half hour drive from the parking area to the top)
